NZ Sunshine Fund IA Flooding 

Team members at Isle of Capri Casino & Hotel in Natchez, MS donated $10,500 for the company’s Sunshine Fund. The money will benefit team members at Isle of Capri properties in Iowa who have been affected by flooding. Tony Scudiero, vice president & general manager, agreed to shave his head if they raised $5,000.

PO Charity Check Presentation  The Isle Casino & Racing at Pompano Park gave $25,140 to four local and national charity groups as part of their annual closing night festivities on August 2. The four charities awarded were the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County, the Cooperative Feeding Program of Ft. Lauderdale, the Horses & the Handicapped of South Florida and the national Harness Horse Youth Foundation.
NZ Caltholic Charities Food Pantry 07-2008  When the local Food Pantry in Natchez, MS was ready to close its doors, Isle of Capri and Catholic Charities formed a partnership to ensure that it would remain open. Isle of Capri made a contribution of $10,000 and Catholic Charities agreed to assume ownership. The Food Pantry serves approximately 900 families.
Biloxi Special Olympics 

Over 50 team members from Isle of Capri Casino Resort in Biloxi, MS, recently donated their time to staff the Olympic Village for athletes at the Special Olympics Mississippi Summer Games. This year marks the 16th year of participation for the team.

NZ-HabitatHumanity-Pollard 

Isle of Capri Casino & Hotel in Natchez, MS, recently made a $2,500 donation to the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The money will help finance the building of a new home for Mary Pollard and her two children, Jaylin, 8, and Jada, 3.

KC Community  The team spirit is also evident in Kansas City, Missouri, where team members volunteered during the city’s annual Day of Caring event. They planted flowers, built a picnic area and put down new top soil around a City Mental Health Association building.
Marquette Community  In Marquette, Iowa, team members raised over $2,200 for the American Cancer Society and its annual Relay for Life campaign.
